SAKA operates two holiday caravans, an eight berth in Filey (North Yorkshire Coast) and a six berth in Skegness (Lincolnshire Coast), for patients and their families and other KPA members to enjoy at low weekly rates.
The caravans are fitted with access ramps and are suitable for CAPD. Haemodialysis patients wishing to use the caravans should, of course, make arrangements for dialysis through the Holiday Co-ordinator at their normal unit.

The eight berth (38 feet X 12 feet) SAKA caravan at Filey is situated at the Primrose Valley Bourne Leisure (Haven) caravan park.

Nearby attractions include the seaside towns of Filey (2 miles), Scarborough (9 miles), Bridlington (9 miles) (all three with good safe bathing beaches suitable for families of all ages) and picturesque Whitby (28 miles). Further afield, there are the North Yorkshire Moors (35 miles to the central area).
Primrose Valley facilities include shops, bars, takeaways, entertainment,
a terrific multi-level pool complex and water fun area, two more pools,
a boating lake, fun fair, coarse fishing lake - there's even an adventure Ropes Course.

The SAKA caravan at Skegness is situated at Walsh's Caravan Site.
Facilities on-site include a general store which also has a fish and chip shop! There is a children's arcade on site.
Nearby attractions include a lovely beach ten minutes walk away and a Butlins holiday camp. There are lots of pubs and restaurants in the locality and there is a late opening supermarket directly across the road.
The site and surrounding area are generally flat - ideal for wheelchair users.
